The Community Emergency Response Team trains people to be better prepared to respond to and cope with the aftermath of a disaster.

The City Administration department covers a wide range of areas in the City. It consists of Elected Officials, Boards and Commissions, the City Attorney, City Manager and the Bureau of Records and Elections Management.

The Fontana Unified School District is located in Southern California in what is known as the Inland Empire, a fast-growing community 50 miles east of Los Angeles. The 38-school district serves preschool-adult in a diverse urban/suburban environment. Mark N. Nuaimi was elected Mayor of Fontana in November 2002. His term will expire in November 2006. Mr. Nuaimi has lived in Fontana since 1989. He is a Senior Program Manager with Iteris, Inc.
