Welcome to the Hemlock Elementary School web site. Hemlock Elementary School opened in September 1993 with 18 teachers and 565 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Student enrollment has grown so that during the 1997-1998 school year 640 students attended Hemlock School. This includes one preschool class containing 25 students.

Juniper Elementary School is one of twenty-six elementary schools in the Fontana Unified School District. Alder Middle School is one of the eight middle schools in the Fontana Unified School District. It currently has a population of approximately 1690 students in grades 6-8. Almeria Middle School is one of eight middle schools in the Fontana Unified School District. Over the past few years the student population in the district has changed rapidly. Almeria currently has a population of approximately 1617 students in grades 6-8. Harry S. Truman Middle School is a technologically supported middle school opened September, 1996 with approximately 1100 students. The school is designed with classrooms located in two villages. Each village contains several possible grade level combinations. The family teams are clustered together and open onto common learning courts.

We are very proud of the accomplishments of our staff and students at Citrus High School. Citrus High School is a true alternative education program, integrating numerous different operations on one campus. I feel Citrus is a school that serves specific needs in the Fontana Unified School District. Due to the hard work and support of the Board of Education, District Administrators, and Teachers, we feel we are accomplishing our goals.

Eric Birch High School is a continuation school serving grades 9-12. The present school site opened in September 1994 after twenty years in portable structures. It is the state of the art for a continuation high school. Our school is moving in the direction of school-to-career system. We are beginning to teach core academics in ways that demonstrate the relationship between school and work.

Fontana High School (Fohi) is one of three comprehensive high schools in the Fontana Unified School District. Fohi has a total enrollment of approximately 3692 students from diversified backgrounds: 75.8% Hispanic, 14.7% White/Non-Hispanic, 7.2% African-American, and 2.3% Other ethnic backgrounds.

Henry J. Kaiser High School is located on the North East corner of Almond and Jurupa in Fontana. Kaiser is one of three comprehensive high school in the Fontana Unified School District. At this time we have an enrollment of approximately 2416 students. The student population is a rich mixture of 71.1% Hispanic, 13.2% White/Non-Hispanic, 11.7% of African American, and 4% Other ethnic backgrounds
